SA's LOWEST TRANSACTION RATES
The transaction rate is the small percentage charged for all transaction done throughout a merchant's card machine. This is common practice for all banks and independent financial service providers.
However, to maintain the lowest possible transaction rate in the market, we'll often match or beat the rate offered by our competitors. It's our way of making digital payment solutions available to all business owners, regardless of the size of the business.
iKhokha's standard card payment transaction rate starts at 2.75% (excluding VAT) per transaction and the online card payment transaction rate is 2.85% (excluding VAT). Each merchant has the opportunity to lower this transaction rate by increasing their monthly trading volume. The more you trade, the lower your rate.

ZERO MONTHLY FEES
In addition to lower transaction rates, iKhokha card machines can be purchased once-off or on a weekly payment plan over 16 weeks. This means you own your card machine and don't pay any monthly rental fees!
SETTLEMENT FEES
There is a standard settlement fee for funds to be transferred daily into a. merchant's account. It's a nominal amount of R2.50 per transaction settlement (regardless of the amount settled).
